The Swiss Permaculture Academy has done a great deal of work in defining the quality criteria for CDPs so that training in Switzerland meets international standards.
These quality criteria allow the validation of the Permaculture Designer Certificates by the Swiss Permaculture Academy.
In order for the CDP to be validated by the Academy, the course tutor ensures that the international standards are met, by compiling the documents “Request for Validation of CDP 72h” and “Certificate of recognized trainer” and sending them to the Secretariat.
The Secretariat verifies the information and sends a validation number that can be used exclusively for the PGB for which the course tutor requests validation.
